This Electric show stopper painting featuring the best joker ever ‘Heath Ledger’ has been created with layers of spray paint, acrylic paint and ink. On a base of book pages from the book ‘ ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’ by Arthur Golden, that have been laid like bricks. Many layers Acrylic Washes have been added to give them a realistic brick look.

I wanted to use the slogan “R U OK?” As a nod to mental health and what Heath Ledger went through before passing.

It has blackened edges and has been finished with satin varnish, signed on the front ‘Debstar’ my street name :) and is ready to hang.
