Artwork Description

Salvador Dali’ is one of my favourite painters.
He was one of the most representative painters in the Surrealism movement.
Dali is a great source of inspiration, studying such a painter makes you realise how important imagination is and how far your imagination can go.
Dali’s elephants symbolize future and strength, usually these animals are represented with obelisks, so to express power and domination.
Very important is the symbol that Dali gives to the long legs: human beings are enchained to Earth because of gravity, from there human gradually rise to their level.
I decided to change the background, choosing a scale of blue to symbolize calmness and relaxation.
To me elephants are strong and protective, I relate them to family.
