Having an interest in prehistoric times and creatures I have always loved the Mammoth. I even purchased a Mammoth hair and Mammoth tooth when we visited England from a collector of all things prehistoric. They look like such gentle giants and I find them quite fascinating. So I have painted this beautiful creature relaxing and almost playing with a tree branch. I used Gesso mainly with some acrylic so you don't draw the image you just paint using Gesso, it was a lot of fun!
