After our town held a musical symphony on what is called the Village Green I was inspired to visually represent the occasion via these two paintings - Symphony #1 & Symphony #2. I have collaged some very old musical transcripts into the paintings to depict the soaring sounds of music in and amongst the trees and air. For a bit of whimsy I also added two small white rabbits in the foreground that appear to be listening to the music.
"Symphony #2 on the Green" is one of a series of 2 which invites viewers to pause, listen, and experience the magic of music through a visual lens, fostering a deeper appreciation for the ways in which art and music intertwine to enrich our lives and nourish our souls.
