Artwork Description

Kimberley Falls is my interpretation of Mitchell Falls, a four tiered iconic Kimberley attraction. Punamii-unpuu to the Wanumbal people, the falls were carved through sandstone by the waters of the Mitchell River producing layers of mesmerizing emerald water pools from which the waters tumble from one to the next.

The resin captures the strength and flow of the waterfalls and the vivid red and orange colours resonate the earthy sandstone colours of the Kimberley Region.
