Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
Inspired by books from my ‘blue’ collection and a perpetually flowering Phalaenopsis that has bloomed for me since I bought it about a year ago. I thought it was time to immortalise and celebrate it in a composition.
This piece has been drawn using artist quality watercolour pencils on Archers 300gsm hot press paper.
The drawing has been painted over with water. This process has been repeated several times to achieve the deeper, vibrant colours.
