After visiting the Musée de l'Orangerie and being surrounded by Monet's famous Nymphéas ( water lilies) , I was actually mesmorised by the colours and textures in the Willow trees that gracefully frame his lily pond. Then I took shelter under this willow tree while painting plein air by Monet's Lily pond. So I had to paint this. I am planing on a larger painting of this scene.
