I found this tiny section of Katherine Gorge in a larger photo from several years ago. When cropped, it revealed a dramatic blue sky with precariously perched trees reaching out for the light. I felt it needed a treatment more figurative than my usual abstract interpretation.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing
Finished with two coats of varnish for surface protection
Signed on the front with a certificate of authenticity
