There is a saying "paint what you love". I have an eclectic collection of cups and this one is inspired by my first taste of French Earl Grey tea that was introduced to me by a friend. I have placed a macaroon in the painting as I often like to position food in my paintings. I have also added a book that a gave to my daughter. The background is collaged and then has thick buttery paint applied. This painting is framed in Australian Oak and ready to hang.
