This painting has now been framed in a charcoal colour timber frame, enhancing the soft greens in the artwork. We often walk to the top of Mt Lofty in Wonga Park (which is more of a hill really), and from there have a lovely view over the Yarra River and surrounding land and small dams. The curves and bends make an interesting subject for drawing and painting. I have kept the colour scheme very simple, as not to distract from the river. I find this small artwork very calming and peaceful.
