This painting is the latest in a series that I've been creating for ten years. Faceless female figures swathed in white share emotion, beauty and elegance without identity. They never age, they never tell, they are beautiful. This painting shares the joy of summer holidays at the beach, free, frivolous and full of summertime spirit.
This particular painting features vintage newspapers from my local area, the paper itself dates back to the 1920's and features articles from Yeppoon, Rockhampton and Mount Morgan in Central Queensland.
