I painted this beautiful flower after my friend asked me to help with the shading on her own version of it. We had a wonderful time in her studio and inspired each other to paint more!
I loved her flower so much that I decided I would do my own, and she was more than happy to share it with me.
I particularly love all the folds and shades in the petals of a peony flower. Now I am on the search for another beautiful peony.

Painted in acrylic on canvas, these Reproduction prints are on Giclee Fine Art Paper, printed with Museum quality archival inks which are so true to the original painting they are indistinguishable from each other!
I love asking people to identify the original. It usually takes them some time and they don't always get it right.
