Sparkling Sunset Waves

The ocean is always a beautiful sight at any time of the day but there is something really special about it at sunset. A surprising number of colours can appear and disappear in a relatively short space of time while the direct sunlight creates beautiful sparkles on the surface.

I have chosen a particular moment in that sunset for this piece and I love the transition of colours from a cool, deep blue to a warm purple that is tinted with orange where the sun hits the water.
These colours have a lovely calming effect and overall, the artwork is a reminder of our beautiful and incredible Earth.

To create this artwork, I used quality acrylic paint on a stretched thick-profile canvas. In addition, I have coated the painting in a waterproof satin varnish. This ensures protection for the artwork over time.
And finally, for convenience, I package and ship my artworks ready to hang.
