The artist describes this painting as a study in quiet attention and mutual respect. A lone snorkeler drifts near the reef, observing a turtle as it moves unhurriedly through the water. There is no chase, no interruption — only a shared moment of awareness. Inspired by time spent floating above reefs, the artist wanted to capture the humility that comes with entering another world and learning to slow down enough to truly see it.
