My inspiration:

Natali.....a beautiful woman inside out, a kalloni!
she has beautiful eyes and long black hair (naturally red) and she is full of fire in her personality.
She is an adventurous horse and I love her very much!

She is a single mother of one who fights for raising her 4-year-old daughter.
She would get out of her way to help someone, even a stranger while never asking for anything in return. Even if her life is full of struggles and drama.

Her need for emotional support and appreciation led her to the hands of a very dangerous man.
He manipulated and seduced her into liking him so much and isolated her from her family and friends. She suffered abuse, emotional and physical while she didn't ask for help regrettably.

When on a very tough time in my life I needed her and she was there for me and helped me with kind guidance to the right track. That's when she opened up to me about her situation.
She opened my eyes and I opened hers.
We got help!
We involved the police and other organizations. She stood up for herself. Her family wouldn't all be there for her but she had a few good people by her side.

She is now trying to start her life all over again after he broke it all apart.
He is in Prison.
She is in close communication with the police and Orange door, an organization that has helped her so much and I am so thankful to God they exist and do so much work in secret.

After all the hiding and secret life she had to protect herself from him, she is now standing up for herself, aiming to be independent happy and healthy, received free counseling from our parish Priest and she is doing much better.

Her story is to be continued...

Through this painting, I wanted to raise awareness of Violence against women. Someone told us that it takes about 11 cases of violence before a woman actually asks for help.
Please pay attention to the signs and offer help, a home, money, the number to "Orange Door".
Start the conversation. Violence doesn't always come from men to women but the other way around as well.

For this case, I want to help Natali further by offering her an amount of the profits of this painting as an act of support to help her with rent and other expenses she has health-related.

I always wanted to do more philanthropy and this is my chance to do it.
I hope this painting changes many lives and enriches them in the best ways possible.
