This artwork is part of “30 days // 30 paintings” challenge held over March and April 2021.

Today’s painting (day 1) is based on my memory of the mallee country in South Australia which I travelled through a few years ago. Stunning land; harsh and thirsty, with scrubby trees, and a horizon so far away it’s hard to see.

This artwork is available for purchase now, and will be posted after 30th March to allow time for the oil paint to dry.
