This piece is inspired by glorious rural living. Firstly, that of my slice of earth on the NSW south coast, with it’s caves, creeks, wombats, and roos. It is also inspired by a dear friend and fellow artist, and memories of visiting them at their own slice of rural countryside, where we’d create and channel inspiration together with love and joy.
Every time I go for a bushwalk, swim in a secluded creek, sit under the magnificent power and pressure of a waterfall, or gaze into a campfire & watch the embers float into the night’s sky; I am filled with awe and mystery - what wonders does the bush hold for me this time?
