This small mixed media painting on cotton paper is an exploration of pastel blue, grey and pink. It has been created intuitively. I love to paint expressively using a variety of mediums trying to find a balance between chaos and order. Clouds are a favourite theme of mine.
It is sealed with a matt archival varnish. .

"Pink cloud moment" is not framed. The frame in the images is just to show a way to style the artwork.
Framing can be ordered via Bluethumb at checkout.

Artist Bio

Fiona Hill is an Australian contemporary abstract artist based in Windsor, Melbourne.
Her creative process is an intuitive one and involves a building up of layers of colour and texture with acrylic paints and inks. Her paintings are characterized with painterly brushstokes and drips. She works with a combination of thick and transparent layers of colour allowing the foundation layers to show through. Fiona is interested in capturing the fleeting sensations of colour and light. The abstract nature invites personal interpretation - some might see a colourful sky, a dreamscape, or an emotional expression.
