“Somewhere in between” is an abstract, atmospheric painting dominated by soft greys, charcoal, white, and muted beige. Broad, gestural brushstrokes create a misty, storm-like landscape with an ambiguous horizon.
This represents an emotional landscape. It feels moody, contemplative, and atmospheric, balancing abstraction with hints of a natural landscape— In my mind it represents the tension between knowing and not knowing, It’s about being open to possibilities, rather than commitment to one outcome. It’s about accepting not every question has an answer and that uncertainty itself leaves room for imagination, change and unexpected possibilities.
Layers of acrylic paints and charcoal are sealed with a quality Matt varnish.
