Small Art Deco painting, inspired by nature. A black Japanese koi fish on a gold background. The intricate designs were painstakingly crafted over many hours, and the longer you look at the work, the more detail you will discover.

I’ve been creating small works in this style for several months now, usually focusing on pattern and shape. I hope to continue exploring with this style in future.
