This painting is behind class. This painting depicts a group of people in the foreground gathered around a formally laid table. On the table are candles, flower arrangements, dinnerware. Above them suspended on a pergola is a vine that is lit up with lights. In the background, silhouetted figures are gathered.This is a painting of a lady wearing a blue Cheongsam. This garment is traditionally associated with Asian culture. The lady is in a three quarter pose, and is holding an unopened fan in her hand. The background is a somewhat abstract with turquoise and bits of red poking around here and there. The lady is also wearing a red feathered hair accessory, and she is looking towards the left of the painting. This painting is in landscape format. Flinders Street Station Entrance dominates the central section. To the right of the scene you can see all the way down to the clock tower, there is a tram and some pedestrians. To the left of the painting there is a horse and carriage. Two young girls are the focal point in this painting. One is carrying a surf board and the other is huddled in a colourful striped towel. They are walking at the waters edge, and in the background you can see an area of more beach and a hill with shrubbery.
