"Here B-A" is an original mixed media artwork by Melbourne abstract artist G Kustom Kuhl that has been created on Saunders Waterford 325gsm artist paper that has been adhered to board. The work uses various vintage papers, such as music sheets, brown paper and collected pictorial images, along with the use of pencils [various and layered], inks. paint, stencils and hand made forms used to print with make up this original composition of work. The artist creates a harmony of balance between the forms with a floating effect of moving onwards to new plains. The timeline across the bottom of the work gives us an idea how long this process has taken, with added numbers and letters off to the right side create a language which is known but not making any sense. Such are the random millions of thoughts going through each of our heads at one given time. Limited in colour the work expresses a time of past, desire and the brilliance of a pure future - white. The piece is then finished off with a thick polyurethane clear coat that almost encases the work as a display of caught emotions.

Artwork comes supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity and is ready to hang with painted black sides [to be hung without framing].

A Melbourne artist that creates mixed media original artwork that open up for a look into different worlds. The use of recycled materials, paint, pencils, various textures and methods like de-construction of form, opens up for an abstract universe, that encourages the observer to go on a reflective journey in a visual, as well as in the spiritual.
The pieces make up an interesting combination of inspiration from life [past & present], an interaction with the conscious, sub-conscious and the underlying elements of the spiritual beliefs.
This manifests itself in the use of signs, symbols, patterns, found objects and images of his own photography from various places and surroundings.
Colours and images that evoke memories, emotions also influence all the works and help with the communication between artwork and viewer. Making marks, using the images as forms and shapes, using text all add to the emotional experience.

I have been drawing and painting since childhood and have been involved in many exhibitions throughout my lifetime. I studied painting and drawing, graphic design and photography. My work is in various private collections throughout Australia and the world.My design/artwork has also allowed me to create various Australian music cd artwork in past years for some of Australia's largest music labels. Art & design work is on permanent display at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum [online], as an example of music artwork of the 2000's era.The other interests include building, restoring and adding creative influences to the my bespoke business of classic cars, motor cycles and custom bicycles, which I have been concentrating on for the past 20 years. Anything that's creative always has my interest.

G Kustom Kuhl's artwork can be found in various private collections throughout Australia and many more around the world, with collections in USA, UK, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain and many more.

A large number of G Kustom Kuhl's abstract original mixed media artworks have been purchased as a part of the iconic Melbourne Rydges Hotel private collection and are on permanent showing in all 372 rooms, including the penthouse suites, lobby seating areas and a large commissioned pool side original artwork that is a mixed photography piece especially created for the hotel chain.

G Kustom Kuhl's artwork has also been featured in the Channel 7 renovation show "Dream Home" 2024. Artwork was part of Brad & Mel's Melbourne home renovation.
