This is my favorite bird portrait so far , im loving the softness of the feathers
and the concentration on his face looking into devouring the grape.

Artist since age of 20 ,now in my early 60's, my father is also an artist and has had a huge influence on my appreciation of art in all mediums.
I love experimenting with colour and abstract forms.
My new direction is capturing birds with the medium of colored pencils.
Colored pencil give me the details i like to capture with the texture of feathers .
Drawing only a head portrait enables me to illustrate the personality of each bird .
You never stop learning and I am always looking towards near techniques and subjects happily enveloped in my art practice.
