This work was devised to evoke surreal tension reminiscent of a Hitchcockian psychological space, presenting a juxtaposition of oddly related pieces in a claustrophobic, internal landscape.

It is painted on heavy weight Fabriano paper.
Painting size: 40 cm height x 45 cm wide on larger size paper.

This art explores colour, form, pattern and figuration and recompose the shapes and shadows of nature and the built environment. It is based on realism with a distortion factor, canvassing aspects of the ordinary and the extraordinary and evoking a sense of the social dynamics and psychological layers of identity and place.
