We tend to make use of geometric things to surround us and to design a geometric environment. It stands to reason that this makes a stark contrast to our natural, organic selves.
This art explores colour, form, pattern and figuration and recompose the shapes and shadows of nature and the built environment. It is based on realism with a distortion factor, canvassing aspects of the ordinary and the extraordinary and evoking a sense of the social dynamics and psychological layers of identity and place.
Artwork: The persistence of geometry
