Artwork Description

Oil on wood, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

My oil painting of the 99 yr old Manly ferry Baragoola which unfortunately sank Jan 5 2022 while at berth at the Waverton coal Loader.
For many years I had a yacht on Sydney Harbour and often went in to take a closer look at the historic Manly ferry Baragoola.
She was in a bad state of repair, but the owner a nd workers struggled to preserve an important part of Sydney's Maritime history.
She was built as a steam powered ferry, later converted to diesel power and had a long life providing service to the public.
60 years in service, until retirement on 8th January 1983.
