Since leaving Las Palmas, 20 days and 2,700 miles, we crossed the finish line late at night heading for the Marina in Rodneys Bay St. Lucia. The blinding flash as we crossed the line was unexpected, and completely destroyed our night vision now as we closed land after leaving the opposite side of the Atlantic.
