This piece pays homage to all the uninvited visitors to the font verandah. Growing up on a farm means wildlife is aplenty and you never know what you’re going to see! Over the years we had visits from many birds, frogs, snakes and lizards just to name a few. But I can remember one particular day walking outside and seeing an echidna nestled in beside a pair of work boots!
