Classical realism, with a painterly 'explorative' technique.

I was so happy with the study, it was just better to stop there. Arrogant, Audacious, Lucky, Afraid ?

Seems to capture some of the intelligence, beauty, mystery, poise of the subject.

Pretty much shows the whole gestation of the picture as I explored through it – nothing has been cleaned up, its all there warts and all. I accept my weaknesses as a painter and as a man – is it the job of art to create something perfect ?

I simply marvel at the beauty of the natural world… that is, when I’m not feeling the normal post-apocalyptic despair we find ourselves in :]
