Artwork Description

This painting is one of my beach bodywork. In the summer holiday, a boy in a beach towel who is staring in front of the sea, is he waiting for his family to return home? A girl is wearing her colourful beach towel too, has she just got out from the sea? And a man is standing behind his red kayak. I have found their relationship is the exciting point in this painting.

This painting has floating framed in gold colour; please find the close-up image for the detail.
Frame size: 88.1 cm (W) x 65.3 cm (H) x 4.2 cm (D)

This painting depicts the scenery of the urban landscape. The street signs, graffiti and street art, and the public housing commissions in the far distance composite an interesting city view, along with the poster FREE ASSANGE, which reveals the current political problems that still need to be solved and is the highlight for the painting. Mickey flees effortlessly and efficiently over the wall barrier. It breaks through such an oppressive and dull atmosphere and forms the contradiction of contrast.

I aim to create this worth pondering painting for the viewers. ONE WAY has suggested that the tales cannot tell; we are still facing uncertainty in the future and looking for a way to solve the big problems. Perhaps they are about social and political issues or many other mysteries in our human beings' everyday matters.
