Artwork Description

Generations_2
This painting is dedicated to myTasmanian Ancestors . The central circular area shows a sacred symbol that can be found carved into rocks located in my ancestors country, the two outer half semi circular areas depict Mother and Father, while the two inner semi circles depict Daughter and Son, the straight vertical line represents a safe passage through life.
Reminiscent of growth rings on a tree, the interconnected circles with their multi coloured concentric circles spreading out from the centre of the painting represent our past generations.
