My painting symbolically shows the gathering of the Manegin Clan. Elders & families are coming together on country at our sacred site located at Sundown Point Tasmania. The inner circles & Shapes represent the ancient symbols that our Manegin ancestors etched onto the Petroglyphs, and the turquoise dotted areas represent the Sundown Creek. The outer doted rings of red, beige & turquoise represents the Sundown Creek, dunes and the Petroglyphs extending into the ocean, while the blue hatched area represents the ocean,
The perimeter coloured interlocking circles depict our Manegin ancestors spirits watching over us.
