The Australian Aboriginal people have always respected the land, animals; and its waterways; we were and remain intrinsically connected to the environment in which we live. The Aboriginal People of Australia have been the custodians of the land and waterways for thousands of years; they understood the importance of sustainability; and were aware that the land provided everything for our very existence, that’s why sustainability has always been; and remains so important to us.
The array of colours and shapes detailed on my painting symbolically represent the land that is so precious to all Aboriginal people; and on which all Australians live.
