High Country Tea was created while I was living in The Snowy Mountains region. The woman and her horse, are Snowy Mountains locals. Sharing a high country tea, the woman uses fine china, while her horse steals a cheeky cube of sugar.
The back ground was the view from my kitchen window, with the beautiful gums, and Thredbo and Perisher clearly visible. I managed to capture the snow clouds on the top right, as they were rolling in. There is also a magpie in the centre of the painting.
The colours in the photo appear faded. This is due to not being able to get a better photo, without any sun reflection.
