After a summer of reef hopping and searching through rock pools on Kangaroo Island, I could think of no better way to see out the holidays than re-living the expericence through art.
A painting that changes colour with a slight difference of angle, the tones are more dominantly a mint green as pictured in photo number two, with plenty of aqua shades coming through in the depths.
Pools of resin create the illusion that the water is sitting amongst the rocks, willing to house whatever creature seeks refuge.
Medium
Plaster has been used to form rocks and movement in the water. Acrylic and resin has been used to achieve the colour and water effect.
