Embodying the spirit of trying new things and putting oneself out there, this work uses the horse motif to symbolise courage, freedom, and the thrill of stepping into the unknown. Bold, energetic colours convey the joy and excitement of a first date, where every moment is filled with anticipation and discovery. It's a celebration of embracing new experiences and taking risks in the pursuit of love, reminding us of the transformative power of opening our hearts to possibilities.'Find Your Own Way Home' serves as a poignant reminder that a journey is not always a physical destination but a personal quest to find one's true self amidst the complexities of life. With its rich textures and subtle tones, this work invites viewers to reflect on their own paths, encouraging introspection and a deeper understanding of one's inner journey towards self-discovery.Mixed Media on Canvas, Framed in Tasmanian Oak

This painting portrays a hopeful scene of change and growth. Standing as a reminder that even as one chapter closes, there's always a fresh start waiting just around the corner. It encourages us to face transitions with optimism, emphasising that endings can pave the way for promising new beginnings. This is the story of a horse and his friend 'Pigeon'. For years I have observed this friendship. Every evening the pigeon returns to chat and spend time in the paddock with his big grey warmblood mate. I have no clue what they talk about.
