Artwork Description

Brian is an elderly gentleman who comes into the café where I work. He started bringing me plants and flowers, which have inspired so many of my recent paintings. One day he said to me, “you bring a lot of happiness.” It stayed with me. A reminder to say the nice things you think - it can mean more than you realise.

This is the first in the Brian’s Flowers series. Loose, messy, free and joyful.
