This art work of mine was influenced by the the Kilim rugs originating from Turkey. Kilim rugs are recognised by their simple and bold geometric designs.

I started painting as a hobby, but as time past I enjoyed it so much so I attended art classes. My first art lessons were taught by Fiona Craig, later to be taught by artist John Perkins.
