They can be seen lining the main street of Mitchell, Queensland and dotted everywhere in this ancient landscape.

They were here, naturally, long before anyone came to this Great South Land….hundreds of thousands of years, holding on, letting go and triumphantly existing in countryside that has been at the mercy of changing climate and sea levels forever.
