My contemporary, abstract landscape painting was inspired by my memories from last year of the awesome display of golden yellows throughout the countryside, just outside of Brisbane.
Countryside that my grandparents owned and farmed many years ago. The dairy farms are now long gone, but the wattles remain in all their glory at that special flowering time of year.🙂💛
The fig trees were planted as shade trees by the farmers, but the wattles have always lived here naturally…..Australian, resilient, native trees…. no wonder I love them so much!
