Artwork Description

While working on this piece I enjoyed capturing the skin tones of the figure and the chitenge pattern on the African cloth the lady is wearing. Chitenge is a traditional material for Zambian women which is part of their culture. This piece was drawn on a sunny day out in the local village on my visit to Zambia.
