Affirmation: The reality is now, let’s play to win.

This artwork was inspired by my visit to Royal Botanic Garden in Cranbourne. I was drawn immediately to this particular Eucalyptus macrocarpa tree in full bloom in the flowering season. I love the details on those large ovate grey leaves and the earthy tone on the plant.
The rough surface on the gum nuts and the smooth silky texture on the flowers, display of greatest strength of life.

I present you the latest piece from my award-winning/signature series -Bloom like flowers.
Eucalyptus Macrocarpa (Mottlecah), a sprawling mallee endemic to Western Australia. Eucalyptus flowers also have the symbolic meaning of Healing and Protection.
The flower always blooms in its own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.

-Bloom like flowers -
In this signature series of mine, flowers as the object represent life itself to me.
Our own will to be alive, and the way we want to be alive.
While I carefully paint these tiny flower petals or build up those fine leaf veins, it is like the way we try to figure out those uncertainties, furthermore, to be able to be closer to the truth a little bit more.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This artwork was inspired by my visit to the Royal Botanic Garden in Cranbourne. I was drawn immediately to this beautiful, large native shrub in full bloom in the flowering season. I love every detail of it, from the terminal racemes of small flowers in bright yellow that shine beautifully under the sun, to the long, narrow pine-like leaves.
Persoonia pinifolia, a species of the Proteaceae family, is an attractive large shrub with large spikes of bright, vivid yellow flowers and pine-like foliage, native to New South Wales, Australia.
Pine-leaved Geebung normally flowering from mid-summer to autumn, it grows into a dense shrub that birds can take refuge in. Persoonia pinifolia loves well-drained acid soil, prefers a sunny position or one with partial shade, and tolerates reasonably heavy frosts.
This is a rare sight to see as it can be difficult to propagate somehow. This is why it was a nice surprise that I encountered the Pine-leaved Geebung in its flowering season during my visit to the garden.

Affirmation – Do your best, all your perseverance and effort will turn into a fruitful harvest.
Flowers always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers.
May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.

In the middle of lockdown in Melbourne, In between my large floral projects - I want to paint something joyful, something soothing and healing, something reminds me of the good time with my family that we haven’t seen each other for years.
While we had a day trip to Mt Donna Buang, it was snowing in winter, but we had fun.
Everything looks magical and shining covered with snow. I breathed in deeply the crisp mountain air, and all the right feelings.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This is my depiction of a gorgeous Hydrangea arrangement I encountered during my visit to Dandenong Ranges on a sunny afternoon.
Sunlight came in from the window formed a warm yellow halo, illuminating the Hydrangea flowers which placed in a green oval glass vase, the light grey curtain swung along with the breeze slightly, and time froze on that magical moment.
Hydrangea symbolizes Heartfelt and honest emotions, reunion, abundance and prosperity. With its wooden stems and lacy, star-shaped flowers packed together in a pompom. The blossoms are treasured for both their grace and delicacy and are the flower symbol of the fourth wedding anniversary. Blue hydrangea symbolizes gratitude and understanding for someone else.
Gypsophila paniculata, also known as the baby's breath, common gypsophila or panicled baby's breath, is a species of flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae.
In the language of flowers, Baby's breath flower stands for sincerity, purity, and love. It also symbolizes innocence, making it an excellent gift for baby showers and many other occasions.
Flowers always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.

-WILD BOTANICAL ABSTRACT SERIES 2018 by H.Lin-
A Sunny morning, I walked into my front yard, the dandelions bloom furiously after a few days rain.
So many Dandelion puffs, flower buds, and flowers bloom in striking yellow on the lawn.
Like a stunning Dandelion field.
In a beautiful Yellow and Green Colour combination.
I paint dandelion for many reasons.
Whenever I need a bit of energy boost, I paint dandelion.
A Dandelion stand for inner strength and vitality. A field of dandelions symbolized tons of courage and abundance.
The most common flower, has the grace of peony and the strength of winter camellia.
It'll always be there for you, in every season, sunny day or rainy day.
This painting looked perfectly on any colour wall.
Hope you feel the good vibe in this painting, may it bring all the love to you as well.
