I have this beautiful camellia tree at my front yard which bloom gloriously from every Autumn till Winter. Flower always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers.
I am obsessed with the delightful view of the sunlight reflected on those pure white flower petals, and a bit of of yellow / brown / red blended on the flower buds every time I study the bloom.

It has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom of this beautiful camellia tree every year, all of them had found their forever home quickly, now you are looking at my latest interpretation of my favourite camellia tree.

Camellia flower speaks to the heart and expresses positive feelings.
The flower of Camellia also symbolizes great passion, refinement, faithfulness and Perfection.
When white camellias presented to someone, it is thought to bring luck.

This artwork is painted during the lock down, a special isolation diary that I wrote with my paint brushes. That is why I name this artwork – A Wonderful Life – to reminds us that there's always sunny days ahead of us as long as we are alive.
