Artwork Description

Somewhere in the wind, an American singer-songwriter goes by the name Kurt Donald Cobain,
never mind he's best known as the guitarist, from nirvana, I write angst-fueled songwriting drenched in anti-establishment persona bullshit bravado. Names have no meaning, Cobain's songs opened a door for a new wave of punk evolution known as grunge. #smellsliketeenspirit

Artist Bio

Patrick Edward Indo, known professionally as INDO the artist, is an award wining prolific Australian contemporary artist recognised for his large-scale murals and culturally driven visual work across public and commercial spaces.

With a background in graphic design, multimedia, and illustration from Hornsby TAFE NSW, INDO spent over a decade working as a Senior Designer and Art Director before transitioning into a full-time art career. His work bridges the gap between street art and contemporary fine art, combining bold composition, symbolic storytelling, and refined execution.

INDO has delivered projects for major brands and organisations including ING, ANZ, Foxtel, RedBull and The Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as numerous councils and public institutions across New South Wales and beyond. His murals are known for transforming everyday environments into engaging, high-impact cultural experiences.

He is the recipient of the Australian Street Art Award and has been twice nominated for Australian of the Year (Macleay Valley region), reflecting both his artistic contribution and community impact.

Working from regional New South Wales, INDO continues to produce studio works and large-scale commissions that explore identity, energy, and human connection—bringing a distinct, contemporary Australian voice to both public and private collections.
