The original oil painting is by Philip Lindsay, inspired by a walk through Noosa North Shore Nature Park at sunrise in 2016.

"Everything was colourful , insects were buzzing , birds making a cacophony , heralding a sun which is a huge seething ball of nuclear fusion , rising above the ocean . "

Philip studied Biology/ Ecology at Macquarie University and worked in the National Herbarium in Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens which influenced his interest in botanic drawing .
