The Tasmanian Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo, named Charlie, who is a resident of Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton Tasmania. A cheeky fellow with a funny personality. I placed Charlie with a Yellow Banksia Bush, one of the bird's favourite perching native shrubs. Made from my own reference photos, with Charlie a photo from Bonorong Sanctuary. I use archival substrates and professional grade coloured pencils for this artwork.
