Finding moments of connection is key to all the artworks I create. Sitting in front of a family of meerkats for the first time affected me deeply. Their familial relationships and fierce protectiveness reminded me so much of my own feelings and connections to my loved ones. I saw myself in them and was filled with so much joy.
