This is an impressionist oil painting of rainforest trees in Nightcap National Park, northern NSW, west of Byron Bay. Nightcap National Park is an ancient World Heritage-listed rainforest, near Lismore and Murwillumbah.
It was painted with a palette knife in soft pinks and shades of turquoise. The image is continued on the sides of the canvas.
