This work is sketched in bitumen - the bitumen has been diluted and left to form the table on which the flowers sit. The colour is painted with oil paints and oil sticks.
The posie is a mix of native flowers and foliage gleaned on neighbourhood walks and placed in the studio to help inspire me and inform the shapes and patterns I use in my regular practice. It includes a banksia, paper daisies, wattle and gum leaves.
The work is unframed but can be. framed using BlueThumb's framing service.
