Artwork Description

I created this drawing while processing the ongoing news about the bushfires here in Victoria and New South Wales. Thinking about sorrow, and grief, and hope for tomorrow.

I used Strathmore grey toned paper with graphite pencil and white pencil.

The work is custom framed in natural grey timber with a dark gray mat which echo the tones in the work.

Please note the image of the framed work was taken with different lighting to reduce glare on the glass and so the colours are cooler than they are in life.
